Preview: Servus Youth Tier 4 City Provincials this weekend

The Servus Youth Tier 4 City Provincial Championships will kick off in Edmonton and Calgary tomorrow evening. Representing 7 districts from across the province, 46 teams will vie for the top spot in their division between July 19-21, with the finals taking place on Sunday afternoon.

With Soccer Week in Edmonton underway, Provincial matches in Edmonton were scheduled to accommodate the Cardiff City v Real Valladolid match at Commonwealth on Saturday at 7 pm. Teams interested in attending the International match can find more details here.

Referees

Without the crucial support of match officials, the competitions wouldn’t be what they are. The referees who have been appointed to games at Provincials have earned this opportunity based on their consistently strong performances throughout the season.

This weekend’s Tier 4 City Provincials will see 48 referees in Calgary and 33 in Edmonton.

Merchandise

Merchandise is available for all Provincial Competitions. For those who haven’t had the opportunity to order online, limited supplies will be available on-site.
