  Game Duration
All indoor games are played in 60 minute time slots.  The duration of each game is 50 minutes (two 25 minute halves) with an 8 minute on-field warm-up and 2 minute half time.
Boardless 7v7 games are played in 75 minute time slots.  The duration of each game is 60 minutes (two 30 minute halves) with a  10 minute on-field warm up and 5 minute half time.

Red Cards and Coach or Spectator Ejections
All red cards at the Provincial Championships will generate at minimum a one game suspension.  Suspensions must be served at the next Alberta sanctioned match and will carry into the next season if necessary.
Once an individual has received a red card the game official will write a discipline report and submit it to the Alberta Soccer Representative for a decision.  Individuals will be notified by the Alberta Soccer Representative if a hearing is required for a given offense.  Minimum suspension guidelines are listed in the competition rule book.
The Provincial Championships are an exciting time for everyone and spectators are encouraged to show their support for the players on the field as much as possible.  In the event that a spectator chooses to negatively express their opinions of their opponents, the game official, other spectators or their own team, they will be asked to leave.  Alberta Soccer considers the head coach of each team to be responsible for the conduct of their team’s spectators and to hold them accountable for their actions.

Team Rosters
Your District Association will submit your roster to the Alberta Soccer office.  Once received, Alberta Soccer will upload the roster to the Alberta Soccer Provincial Championships webpage (and it will then populate on your game sheets).  Provided there are no errors in your District’s submission, rosters will be posted by the Thursday before your competition begins.  Alberta Soccer expects each coach/manager to visit the competitions website to double check their team’s list for any errors or omissions prior to the Provincial Championships.  Please contact your District Association immediately if you notice an error or omission.
During the Provincial Championships each team may only use players listed on the roster which has been submitted by their district.  If a player is listed on the game sheet but does not appear the team’s official roster, the offending team will lose the game by forfeit.

Coaches, Managers and Team Staff
All coaches, managers and team staff who are on the bench must be listed on the team roster.  All coaches, managers and team staff listed on the roster must be CPIC cleared or District equivalent prior to the Provincial Championships.  You may list a maximum of four team staff on each team roster, and for youth teams, one alternate (who may only replace one of the initial four in the case of an absence).  The team staff listed on your roster, which populate onto the game sheets, are the only team officials allowed on the bench – you cannot add additional staff to your roster/game sheet throughout the competition.

Schedules
Provincial schedules are produced and posted on the Alberta Soccer Provincials website as far in advance as possible and are subject to change.  Once schedules have been posted, teams are encouraged to check back frequently to ensure that no changes have occurred.  If a schedule has been changed, an e-mail will be sent to your District Association to inform competitors of the revision.
